Uncle Sam holds a flag representing America. It is tattered and dirty and Sam sheds a tear. He is devastated and saddened without an idea how to bring USA back to it's former glory. Jesus bends humbly to comfort Sam. Mainstream religion would condemn us, but Christ has not nor will he ever. A truly higher power would bring healing and wisdom. This is what Jesus is representing for our Country in this piece. " |
